This session is designed to help substitute teachers develop an appreciation for how important wellness is for individuals, families and school communities. Participants will have opportunities to reflect on their personal wellness journey and learn about a variety of strategies and resources to assist them. By building our personal capacity, we increase our ability to be of continued service to our students, our families and our society. As the saying goes, “You can’t serve from an empty cup.”
